Top 20 Best Beaches - The Philippines Has to Offer

Summer is not complete without spending time at the beach. so, if your planning to have a cold drink under the warm bask of the sun, then do check out this list of the Top 20 Best Beaches in the Philippines.

Boracay, Puerto Galera, El Nido, Dakak to name a few, rank in the list of Philippines most popular beaches. But how about the Mabua Pebble Beach, White Island, Sagisi Island Beach, or Sugar Beach? Perhaps their names don't ring a bell. Mabua Pebble Beach

While most of the world's best and popular beaches are pristine white sand beaches, the Mabua Pebble Beach is one unique beach. As it name implies, this stunning beach has a shoreline laced with smooth white pebbles in various sizes! It will be a one-of-a-kind experience walking barefoot on the smooth pebbles. Mabua Pebble Beach is situated in Barangay Mabua, about 20-minute ride from the City Proper.

Bacon Beach

Pink Beach of Sta. Cruz Island

Is there really such a thing as a pink sand beach? My answer is YES! The Pink Beach of the Great Sta. Cruz Island, in Zamboanga City in Mindanao holds the distinction as the Philippines only pink sand beach. The beach shore line does appear faint cherry blossom pink color because of the pulverized red organ pipe coral mixing with the fine, powdery, white sand. Also, the waters take on emerald green, turquoise, and deep deep blue in color in specific time. Access to the beach is limited.

Dakak Park Beach Resort

The popular Dakak Beach Resort is situated in Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte. The 800 meter plus private beach is known for its about 800 meters long of powdery white sand, natural spring water and fascinating coves. Long lines of coconut trees and pristine blue waters add luster to the place. The resort houses two swimming pools (one with a man-made waterfalls). Lots of activities await tourists at Dakak -- swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling,kayaking, jet skiing, banana boat rides and beach volleyball. Also, the place is haven for native flora and fauna.

Alano White Beach Resort

  2. There is another pink sand beach somewhere in Davao Oriental. It's called Cape San Agustin. Though the sands are not as pink as that in Zamboanga.

  9. I dont know if you are featuring beaches or featuring resorts here..
    Nice collection though, I notice most are in Zamboanga, and I have no idea what City Proper is Pebble Beach from.
    You may consider Mahabang Buhangin, Calaguas.. Beaches in Siquijor.. Guimaras Island.. Patar Beach, Bolinao.. Even the hundred islands of Alaminos Pangasinan.
    Really just a suggestions, regarding El Nido, since its the entrance to Bacuit Archipelago then its not just one beach.. it is a home to a lot really.

  11. From all 20 beaches, I've only been to 6: Boracay, Panglao, Puerto Galera, White Rock, Saud beach and Honda Bay. This made me more excited to visit the 14 others that made the list. :)

  14. I'm not a beach person but amongst the ones listed, I have been to Mabua Beach. Is it the one in Surigao? If so, then yes, I have been to that place. It's quite lovely!

    Ang dami ko pa palang dapat i-explore in my own country. I will definitely add these in my bucket list. :)

  15. it's more fun and beautiful in the Philippines talaga. parang wala sa list ang Pagudpud at saka yung bagong tinatawag nilang Boracay of the North, Sta Ana near my home province, but the ones featured here are really worth visiting.

  17. I am proud that Pearl Farm in included in the top 20 beaches. Although I am from Davao, I have not really been to Pearl Farm but I was in the neighboring Dela Paz Island still enjoying the view of Pearl Farm. =)

  20. Siargao is my next destination, I live in Mindanao but its a shame I haven't been to this place, medyo malayo kasi din like 12 hours to reach this place. Great list.

  27. I used to go to Boracay a lot when I was still in college coz it is closer to home and it was still quiet. But since it had been hyped up, I hated it there, just too much crowd and now i am into body surfing, i did not like the so calm water there, haha. I prefer quiet beaches (less people) with big waves to ride, though of course, i love calm waters when there are good corals and fish life for snorkeling, haha, halos lahat gusto na, though of course i know we can't have it all. Would love to see the pebble and pink beach.

  35. Papaleng, you are no fair :-) it is very cold here in Western New York and you have no idea how I wanted to go to the beach :-) Those are beautiful beaches and only been to Panglao Island :-) hope someday I could bring my family to those famous beaches in the Philippines :-)
